Texas Wind Damascus Chef knife
This is one beautiful chef knife. As with all Damascus knives from Big River Forge, this beautiful Texas wind pattern blade has been forged in house by Charles Carpenter, who is an American Bladesmith Society Journeyman Smith. On the technical side, this blade is formed from alternating layers of high quality 1084 and 15N20 steels for superior edge holding ability while retaining its ability to be easily sharpened in the future. The bolster is stainless steel and the handle is a beautiful Desert Ironwood. The sheath/Scabbard was custom fitted to fit this blade perfectly. It has been hand tooled and finished with a beautiful custom scrollwork type design. All of this has been painstakingly hand forged and hand finished completely from raw materials to finished product by Charles Carpenter.
