This drop point hunter has been hand forged from the highest quality 80CRV2 high carbon steel available on the market. The blade is 4-1/4” long while the overall knife length is 8-3/4” As with all blades from Big River Forge, every aspect of this knife, from hand forging to shape, to grinding, to heat treating, to hand finishing has been completed in house by American Bladesmith Society Journeyman Smith Charles Carpenter. The beautiful handle on this blade is an amazing example of Missouri Black Walnut that has been stabilized to provide many years of outstanding service and continued beauty. The guard is hand shaped and finished 416 stainless steel. The knife also comes complete with a custom fitted and hand tooled sheath that was also made by Charles Carpenter. This little hunter will be ready to face the needs of any hunter.
